I am a multidisciplinary designer with a focus on sustainability and a passion for creating visually impactful work that sparks change. My practice explores materials and concepts that push boundaries while building stronger connections between humans, art, fashion, and nature. Having grown up between Tanzania and the Highlands of Scotland, I’ve always been inspired by the landscapes, people, and environments around me. These experiences continue to shape how I see and respond to the world through design.
Lately, I’ve been diving into the world of biofabrication, a new passion that’s all about making with nature rather than against it. For me, biodesign is both creative and practical; a way to imagine a more-than-human world while also developing real solutions that support both the people and the planet.
After graduating with a BA in Visual Communications from Leeds Arts University, I moved to Amsterdam to study at the Waag TextileLab. Here, I’m exploring the space where textiles and technology meet, and am learning how innovation can bring fresh energy to the fashion industry. I am also connecting with labs and experts worldwide, experimenting with bio- and digital fabrication, and championing circular design in a community of like-minded makers.
